Come, demo what you are working on and ask for feedback from the group! We need to know we have some sites to review ahead of the meetup, so if you have something you would like to share please message Paul Bearne to let him know, together with a URL, what you are proud of and what you are looking for help with (i.e. what aspects of your site you’d like to focus on).
Show and Tell is a format that other meetups have found helpful and popular and the consensus after our first session was that this is something we should do regularly.
It is a discussion of a member’s current website or project. The group member shows their project and describe what problems they have run into. The group can discuss possible solutions, highlight great points in the design, or just learn from each other.
GOOD NEWS, WE ALREADY HAVE TWO SITES TO LOOK AT! THIS IS PROBABLY ENOUGH AS WE INTEND TO LEAVE A LITTLE TIME FOR PRE-CHRISTMAS SOCIABILITY. BUT IF YOU ARE ITCHING TO SHARE SOMETHING, LET US KNOW.
At the November meetup, we suggested that we leave half an hour or so at the end to celebrate the season and that, if you feel so inclined, you might a little something to share.
We’re lucky enough to have the use of good wi-fi and and a large screen at the Town Hall, so all you need to bring are your ideas, your questions and, if you are sharing your site, your laptop.
